| N9442U was the last of the aircraft that moved with the club from the Mentone Airport to Rochester. The original paint scheme was Red, White, & Blue in honor of our countries bi-centennial celebration in 1976 (which was the year this plane was made). The club later repainted this plane white and blue. The club purchased N9442U from Vincennes University in February 1981 for $8,500. The club sold 42U in January of 2003 following a landing mishap which damaged the nose gear and prop. The new owner has rebuilt the plane and is currently flying it. |
